Term 2 Arrangements

Tuesday April 21^st The Premier and Minister of Education announced what Term Two will look like for schools across NSW.

What is important is that:

• Weeks 1 and 2 continue as On Line Learning.
• Monday and Tuesday April 27^th and 28^th are School Development Days.
• From May 11 every student will have the opportunity to start attending one day a week, aiming at around of 25% of students in attendance on any given day.
• Parents should not drive into the campus grounds, but drop students at the front gates.
• It is important for all adults at school to maintain social distancing, this includes parents congregating at school gates.
• Parents should continue to keep their children home except for their ‘rostered day’.  The Premier has asked parents to ‘respect the guidelines’ that will be established by the local school, but no child is to be turned away.

We will work on how this best works for The Rivers Secondary College and have a more detailed explanation published by the end of next week.
